Day 19 of 365 (Year Two)

I picked up Angels and Demons the other day. I enjoyed The Da Vinci Code when I read it and I’ve been told this one is better. I was psyched about sitting down and getting started. Unfortunately Darth Maul kept getting the way. Apparently he thought it was a self-help dating book and he was hoping it might help him score some points with Princess Leia. He was rather disappointed when I told him what it was really about.

I started two days ago with a random Star Wars themed shot. It is starting to look like I have a theme for the week!

Where I grew up in the 1950s I lived opposite an ex-RAF aerial photographer. He gave me equipment & I learnt processing. I made the outside lavvie into a tank-loading cubicle & the upstairs bathroom into a processing lab. I was given plate cameras & photographed gravestones for neighbours for pocket money. Then I discovered it was the 1960s so I ought to be doing other stuff. Photography became something to do on holidays & days out with mum. Leapfrog into the late 80s & I bought a Canon A1 as a Christmas pressy for a loved one. Loved one usefully returned it a few years later after the disappearance of love. F/F to 1997 where I join a public-access darkroom, learn to do stuff ‘properly’ again & mess around improperly with fun attached.
