I have completed most of the book up to the seventh chapter (up to p. 154) I did all the exercises up to this point and I have looked and did some of the exercises from that point to the end of the book.
Just reading it has really helped me understand the causes of my tendency to have paranoid interpretations. But doing the exercises allowed me to go further and better integrate the notions explained by Dr Freeman. Even if I have not yet finished it completely, the textbook allowed me to better understand the mechanisms of fear by helping me understand my own fears. And this was psychologically really liberating. I feel more at ease with people and I sense that people feel more at ease with me too. If you are caught with the problem of having paranoid interpretations about your relationships, don’t give up about solving it. This book can really help you. If you know somebody with that problem, of course, it will be an invaluable resource for you in helping that person.
Even if I am satisfied with what I got from the job I have done with the book for now, I surely intend to finish it and do the exercises that remain as soon as possible. When it is done, I will update this review.
