Cell Phone Report Calls for More Responsible Management to Protect Children and Pregnant Women
North Haven, Conn. (PRWEB) February 01, 2012
Environment and Human Health, Inc. (EHHI) is releasing a new report calling for tougher standards to regulate cellular technologiesespecially for children and pregnant women. This report is the first part of a project researching the health effects of cell phone use. EHHI has reviewed hundreds of peer-reviewed studies that have examined the potential health threats associated with cellular device use, along with the regulatory standards that have been adopted by the U.S. and other nations. This report provides the context for the second section of the project: an animal study designed to investigate the health effects on offspring of cell phone exposures during pregnancy.
New Mental Disorders for Children & Adults, Psychiatry and DSM V
New mental Disorders for Children & Adults, Psychiatry and DSM V Kayleigh discusses the new revision of the DSM-V Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. This is psychiatry bible for listing out mental disorders and its being revised once again. This time American Psychiatric Association plan to add a number of new disorders for both children and adults including failure to adjust, children having tantrums and a number of new learning disorders. This is controversial as a number of psychologists and psychiatrists have an increasing concern that just about all human behaviors could be classified as mental illnesses. Self Improvement Workshop – The Benefits of Interactive Workshops For Children With Self Confidence Concerns
Photo:
As adults we believe every child has the right to aspire to be the very best they can. We like our children to be happy, confident, enthusiastic and highly motivated to strive to their best potential!! We as parents, teachers, role models and councilors can often find it difficult to infuse theses elements into a child. For this reason we have motivational writers offering books to be read by children to implement these views. However some children do not enjoy reading or have the ability to read. In this case, they could benefit from an interactive workshop instead.
