Are there any good self-help books about forgiving, forgetting, and healing?

I still have a lot of anger towards my husband for things that have happened in our past and it is affecting our marriage. Are there any GOOD self-help books out there on this type of thing, or is it best to go see a psychiatrist? (We are in the middle of moving to another state, so this isn’t really the most convenient)

Should there be a self-help subcategory added to the Psychology category?

Everytime I come to answer some questions in the Psych category, there is always at least 3 people with questions saying “oh I’m so depressed” or “How can I be more confident?”. Quite frankly I find these questions obnoxious. I think they are a distraction from discussing much more interesting topics in the psych field.

Because of this, I think a Self-Help sub-forum should be added. Am I right on this?
